Tell NOAA: Hold Brookfield Renewables Accountable and Protect Endangered Atlantic Salmon
NRCM recently obtained documents through Maine's Freedom of Access Act showing that Brookfield Renewables has been breaking the law and knowingly harming endangered Atlantic salmon on the Penobscot River.
The Penobscot and the Kennebec are the only two large US rivers with endangered Atlantic salmon populations, and Brookfield is violating the Endangered Species Act at dams on both rivers.
We need NOAA Fisheries to hold them accountable. Join us in urging staff at NOAA Fisheries to protect endangered Atlantic salmon.
